Zhengzhou Chinese and Foreign Sculpture Art Exhibition Collection Meeting Successfully Held
On the morning of September 29, 2024, Collection Meeting of “Human and Nature” Zhengzhou Chinese and Foreign Sculpture Art Exhibition was held in Zhengzhou. At present, the 7 sculpture works have been successfully installed in the park.

The leaders and experts in sculpture circle present are: Zeng Chenggang, President of China Sculpture Institute, Chairman of Shanghai Artists Association, and President of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts; Yin Xiaofeng,Vice-president of China Sculpture Institute, Dean of Public Art Research Center in Northeast Normal University; Ji Shaofeng, Vice-president of China Sculpture Institute, Director of Hubei Art Museum; Lin Gang, Vice-president of China Sculpture Institute, President of Hangzhou Sculpture Institute; Tan Xun, Vice-president of China Sculpture Institute and Vice-president of the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts Plastic Arts College；Zhao Furong, Deputy Director of Zhengzhou Gardens Bureau; Dou ke, Deputy Secretary of the General Branch of the Communist Party of Henan Workers' Cultural Palace; Hua Chunjiang, Vice-secretary-general of China Sculpture Institute; Liu Meixia, Office Director of China Sculpture Institute, and relevant department leaders and staff.

China Sculpture Institute made multiple rounds of evaluation based on the creativity, artistry, and compatibility with the exhibition theme, and among the large number of high-quality projects and models, 7 fine pieces of sculpture work were finally determined. Together with the 110 artworks in the permanent collection of Zhengzhou Sculpture Park and other public spaces, they embody the concept of “People's Park Shared by People”, show the openness and inclusiveness of public spaces, and provide a rich cultural experience for the public. Here the public can not only appreciate a variety of artworks, but also deepen their understanding of art and achieve a deep interweaving of art and life through participation and interaction.
